Laura's Latest: Silence The Lies

There is never a better way to see things clearly, than to actually see them clearly!

God explained to us in John 10:10 that the devil, our enemy, plans to steal from us, kill and destroy us.

God, however, plans to prosper us and not to harm us, to give us hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).

The enemy is already defeated by God and the instruction from our Heavenly Father is to resist the devil, then he will flee from us. He roams around like a roaring lion, hoping that we will grant his silly plan some allowance. The good news is, we already know his game plan.

Feelings are feelings. They change, they are temporary and are often based around circumstances, which as we know, are always wavering.

Truth is truth and lies are lies. If you eat lies that are fed to you, you will be disappointed at some point. This bad food often leads to a manifestation of sadness, disappointment, loneliness and anger.

God is truthful and always keeps His promises. Why lean on lies when you can trust in the truth and be satisfied?

God exposed to me that I spent a lot of time listening to the voice of the liar over what He says. My Pastor prompted us to document the difference between what the enemy is trying to make us feel, against what God's Word says. Being a girl that loves a flow chart, I came up with this:

Good news huh? I pray that this blesses you x
